Protecting Families requires Technology

The typical American teen transmits an average of well over 100 SMS texts every single day. An astounding Twenty percent of teenagers admit they have sent or posted nude or seminude ‘zexting’ images, possibly an illegal zex crime. 80% of all auto crashes in the United States involve preoccupied drivers, taking the lives of thousands of teenagers annually.

 Parental Control On Smartphone

Recently several software developers have released ?spyware? for smartphones. Mobile monitor software records SMS text messages, mobile phone GPS location, Websites Visited, incoming and outgoing cell phone call logs information and transmits the data to an online secure account where users can log in and read it, and also search content for keywords and data strings such as phone numbers.

The latest smartphones are the mobile phones with computer capabilities. Brands like BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile, Android, Nokia Symbian ? all have spyware software for sale. Spy Call and Call Intercept mobile phone bugging needs the target phone uses a GSM network. Over three million smartphones a month are sold in the US and Canada, and sales are approaching 150 million delivered per year around the world.

As texting from mobile phones has become a focus in teen social life, parents, educators and advocates have grown increasingly worried about the role of cellular phones in the sexual lives of teens. A fresh research study from the Pew Research Center?s Internet & American Life Project (pewinternet.org/topics/Teens.aspx) found that 4% of cell-owning youths between the ages of 12-17 say they have transmitted zexually suggestive nude or nearly nude images or videos of themselves to other people using text messaging. This practice is commonly referred to ?zexting? in today?s slang. Additionally, fifteen percent say they have received these kinds of images images of someone they already know by way of SMS.

By studying more than forty thousand monthly US mobile telecom bills, Nielsen determined that American teens sent an average of an astounding 3,100 text messages each month during Q3 last year. Pew Research points out that zexting occurs usually during one of three different scenarios: The first, involves exchanges of images just between two romantic partners; the next, lists exchanges between partners that are then shared with other people; followed by, exchanges between people who are not yet in a relationship, but where often one party hopes to be.
